Are there limitations to what type of fields can be added as columns in the Jira Plan Timeline view? For example, I cannot add "Time Tracking" as a column to view how much work was done to an individual issue.
Is this on the list view?

Welcome! It's limited to what's currently there. Similar question posted:
Atlassian is continuously rolling out changing and features, so that may change.

Thank for the reply! I was confused by that post's answer because a) it was from August and I know Planning has matured and b) the wording said you "cannot add more fields", but clearly you can add more fields (as columns), but only the ones that are pre-determined by the platform.
Your answered clarified that it is only what is currenlty there, so thank you. But you can add custom fields beyond the default Jira fields, but it seems you can only add certain types of custom fields.

You welcome. Thanks for adding further details. I think eventually it will gradually open up more. At least that's the hope.
