Hello All,
I am a Jira administrator and I have several templates in my system that I created for different teams.
And every time I create a new project, I must create it with all the settings identical to the template (including boards that are more than 3),
Can anyone recommend a plugin that does this easily?
I even started to make a script for this, but unfortunately the script only covers a board and does not have an incrementing system for the project keys which cannot be repeated, I ended up dropping the script.
Can anyone recommend a plugin that copies a Jira project with more than one board and all its settings?
Thanks,
Emanuel Lima
I believe you already use "Create with shared configuration" when creating new projects to make schemes identical.
It has rest api too: How to create project with shared Configuration using REST API
But, it doesn't include boards. You can also define board templates and copy them on each creation but it again requires slight modifications.
There is a Deep Clone add-on but there could be some limitations.
Also, check some existing discussions: Copy Project with board Script
