Hi, I am not a techie and quite frankly, the answers on here make my brain hurt!

I have to use Jira as the company does so everytime I raise a new enquiry (issue), I have to open another issue with the template, copy it and paste it into the new issue!!  I have to do this every single time I raise a new enquiry.  Is there a way I can copy and paste the information into the enquiry?

I have tried but the format changed to the entire text being on one long line and it did not appear in the new enquiry?

Can somebody please help?  It doesn't seem much to ask.

Many thanks

Di Lambert

Hello

You can take a look at this page. You will need to be jira administrator and create a new field with a default value

Hi @Dianne ,

You can actually clone the existing issue and modify it as required. This may be suited for your use case.
