Port 8080 Conflict Trying to Install Jira Software to AWS Linux Host Using a Running Jira Data Center. What Port vitals should be used - I assume this should be very simple since trying to download and install from a running working Jira Data Center Administration page on my AWS Cloud?

Hi, just following up here. As you've experienced, Community is a public-facing forum where users are able to help each other with questions and offer general advice. It looks like in your case you needed direct support from Atlassian for your licensing issue - I'm sorry we weren't able to get you what you needed sooner! After reading through your post history and support tickets, I believe you're all set after Luciano from Atlassian Support reached out to you earlier today.

For the benefit of others finding this issue via Google, the issue was that the Jira Software application was installed in a running Jira Service Desk Data Center instance, but Jira Software wasn't licensed. Normally it should prompt to generate a trial license, but it seems that this didn't happen in this situation or that the trial license wasn't applied successfully after being generated.

The fix was to get the Jira Software Data Center trial license from https://my.atlassian.com and apply it on the Versions & Licenses page in Jira.

Cheers,
Daniel
