Hi,
While using the auto-schedule function in the improved interface (Portfolio 3.0.0) we encountered the following issues:
- In some cases - the suggested scheduling assigns 2 tasks per person at the same time
- In all cases - the time duration of the scheduled tasks are 1 or 2 days, although the estimates given to these tasks are larger (5 days for example)
More details:
- Plan is based on a filter
- Filter shows 1 epic with a few tasks under it
- We tried filling the estimates through portfolio ('Estimates' column) and after going inside the tasks it seemed that the value was synced into 'Remaining' field. We tried filling the 'Original time estimates' inside the task instead - didn't matter.
- Kanban teams, we tried:
- working only with the auto-created team for the plan
- adding a shared team, in addition to the auto-created team
- deleting the auto-created team and adding a shared team
- We tried moving back to the old interface, still encountered the same problem
- We tried filling value inside 'Team' field, and we tried leaving it empty and just have the assignee to the tasks
No luck.. are we missing anything? as these are the very basic scheduling abilities
