Portfolio for Jira - Scope and Capacity View not tracking capacity correctly with sprints

I'm looking to use Jira to help plan out my team's work. What I'm using is the Scope and Capacity view, setting the view to be segmented by Project and by Person. The purpose of this view is to see:

• Who's at capacity and who's not so we can assign more work where appropriate.
• Get an understanding of when epics are winding down so we can establish new work

However, for a few of my resources on a few projects, it's showing their capacity as empty for the next sprint despite being full with tasks for that sprint.

I have these set up off of filters and the filters look for tasks that are in active or future sprints only.

Is it just the special sauce within the algorithm that's causing this or is there a way to fix this?
