Post Function for Remaining Hours upon closing a story or subtask

I want to set the Remaining Time to 0 upon a story or subtask closing.  I tried the post function and tested many times to see if the remaining time was adjusted upon closure and it was not.  We are using JIRA classic cloud.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
