Hi.

We created a new sub-task issue type for QA.

This sub-task is generated for QA related activities such as test execution.

In our project, each time an issue is created, it is automatically assigned to the Product Owner.

However, for the QA sub-tasks I edited the workflow for the 'creat' transition, that is from Open to To Do.

For some reason, when I create this sub-task, it doesn't assign it to the 'testers' user. It still assigns it to the Product Owner.

The 'tester' user does have the assignable permission.

What could be the problem?

Hey @Gil

currently I am not able to reproduce the problem, but did you try to move the post function to the first place in the list, so it is on the first position?

haven't tried it.

I was afraid to break something with Jira.

I have a Basic Sample Project with a Kanban Board with a non-modified workflow (apart form the added post function). The following post functions apply (see attached screenshot).

The first on is a post function I created to assign a user. In my case I didn't have to move the rule. It was in first posisition already . The following ones were already part of the transition and are mandatory. This works fine for me.

If the post function is set to be no.1 in the list, then it works.

Thanks.
