Post function without third part will cane when I export workflow

Hello team

I export a workflow from a test instance and I will import it to a production instance so I ask if post function , condition and validator Will be exported and imported with the workflow or I need to create it manually in the production instance ?

The conditions and validators will also be exported/imported, so you won't need to re-create them manually.

The only exception would be if you had conditions and validators from an add-on, those wouldn't transfer.

@Jean-Théo [Adaptavist]   it can be that status do not came with workflow so the post function not mapped on it ? it's possible ?

@Karim Belhadj A problem with a post-function could be related to different factors.

 

When copying a workflow between systems:

  • Please note that conditions, validators and post functions can have parameters that might be valid in one system and not in another. For example, different systems might contain different sets of values for the 'Resolution' field. This would be a problem if the 'Update Issue Field' post function is used to set the 'Resolution' field to a value that exists in one system but not the other.
