Post in slack when release is released

How can we configure so that a release is posted to a slack channel?

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to configure a notification to be sent when a JIRA release is complete at the moment, at least not with the Official JIRA and Slack integration.

That being said, we agree this would be a useful feature so we created the following feature request to get it implemented:

- Slack notification for releasing a version

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

Additionally, feel free to check in the Atlassian marketplace for any apps that would accomplish your needs.
