The problem is that a regular user in the Tempo application sees the Reports tab. I would like to disable this option altogether. I managed to disable the permissions to view logged working hours by other users. The question is whether it is possible to disable this tab as well?
I believe that anyone who has "View" access to Tempo worklogs will be able to generate reports (makes sense, if you think about it - if you can see the data, why not report on the data?). Documentation link. Tempo "reporting" doubles as a table-formatted web page for data entry.
I doubt there's a way to remove the "Reports" item from the Tempo menu at the top of Jira. I'm not sure what you mean by "tab".
In my experience, Tempo support has been quite responsive. Since this functionality is focused on this Marketplace App (rather than Jira proper), most questions and all Tempo-specific feature requests should go to the vendor (here).
Also, please note that Tempo offers a wide variety of products. It helps to know specifically which product(s) you mean. I assumed Tempo Timesheets for Cloud in my answer.

Again, I doubt those icons can be customized. Your best bet would be to connect with the Vendor (see my second hyperlink in my previous post). Maybe they know a way? I doubt it, but it's worth asking them.
