Preventing issues from being closed while linked tasks are still open

Hi,

I wanted to see if anyone has found a solution for the following on Jira Cloud without using add ons:

1. Would like to make sure that users cannot move issues to Done status if the linked issues are still open.

2. Make sure Epics cannot be moved to Done status if there are stories that are still open.

3. Stop users from linking to a closed issue.

Bad news you will need an add-on, the good news all of the features you are looking to add are feasible. Jira out of the box doesn't offer you the ability to achieve them.

Scripts through validators and post functions will let you make these changes.
