Priority field in the view screen

I have remove Priority field from screen scheme, but priority field still appear in view screen but not in create/edit screen for an issue type

I can create a new field configuration and hide this priority field. But is there any other way  without editing/creating new field configuration

Also can hide/unhide priority field per issue type in a project rather than overall project level ?

Create a field configuration for the required issue type and set the Priority field to hidden there.
