Priority is set to Major per default

Hi all

Every time I create an issue, regardless on the type, the priority is set to Major per default. How can I change this?

Hi @Nima Afrasiabi 

This is only configurable in Setting which is available only for Jira Admin

If you are one of the Jira Admin for the Site

Navigate to the Cog Icon at the top right and choose "Issues" option

Under Priority in Issue Attributes section you can choose which one to be default

If you don't have Jira Admin permission, check with your Jira Admin to make the changes

Please note this will affect all other projects as well for default option

open project settings in left side of project.

click on Priorities on right side click on default priority scheme .

open that scheme there you can choose default one.
