I have my permissions set appropriately in Jira Work Management, and when creating a task via our form or through the board, it defaults to low as it should. However, when creating through the list view, it defaults to Medium, which is certainly not the default.
Slightly related, but priorities also do not show on our board, even with them enabled. I've toggled on and off, but they still won't show.
Hi @Sean Stokke , this doesn't sound right. I wonder if something is changing the priority after the fact such as automation. The default priority is the default priority no matter where you create the issue from. Could you please check the history tab for one of those issues created where the priority is medium and compare that to one word is low. It would be great to do a side-by-side comparison of a brand new issue.
Thanks for the reply Jack. Oddly enough, it says that I updated the rank, which I didn't.
What kind of automation would control this? I don't have any workflows setup outside of a manual one to push these into another project.
Edit: I should also note, I checked the automation audit log a moment ago, and there nothing showed for this time period. The last time an automation was ran was yesterday.

I created a new project and didn't carry over any settings from my existing projects, and I have the same issue there, however within the tasks created from List view, it doesn't show that the rank was updated, but it did update to Medium. I believe the issue is honestly with the List view, not necessarily something I am doing wrong, but I have been proven wrong in the past ;)
