Problem Adding People to JIRA Project

Hey guys.... I have a problem adding people to my project.

Here's what I've done:

I created a project. Added people to it using this steps here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/get-started-with-jira-core/add-users-to-your-project-917965377.html . I added them as admin. When I let them check the project, they can see the project when they log in.

Unfortunately when they click on the link... they're lead to this one:

they can't access the project.

Did I miss something on the adding users to project?

On the project there should be a gear with project settings next to it.  When you click that there should be People listed in the menu.  You will need to add the person here and then provide the individual with the proper role in the project to see the project.
