I have created a new workflow for a new issue type in a project. And that new workflow is currently inactive - I understand this is because it is not yet in use - no problem there but...

So now I'm trying to add it to an existing workflow scheme.

I go to the workflow scheme and I click on the "Add Workflow" button but my new workflow does not appear in the list of available workflows to add. Why not? I'm stuck now. Did I miss something or is there a problem in Jira?

Hi @Kumar_rajarapu ,

Thank you for your swift reply. yes, the workflow does appear in the inactive list so I guess this is a problem at Atlassian's end. Good to know that I'm not going mad :-)

I'll raise a support ticket as you suggest.

Best wishes,

Martin

Hi @martin_kelly ,

firstly, Check whether created new workflow is in Inactive list or not.

If it is there, please refresh the page and try to do the same steps as followed above.

If it is not there, that may be a temporary glitch on you site, it is definitely unexpected behaviour. So try again and if the button does not appear, it may best to reach out to Atlassian support directly. They can access your site and investigate what may be happening there.

You can raise a support ticket via https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Regards,

Kumar
