Hi David, I'm no expert on Jira Server issue, but I found this when I googled your error:
/unknown-column-error-when-upgrading
That's for Confluence, but it might be related.

That suggests your upgrade failed - the database has not been altered to match the new schema for the new version.
How did you do the upgrade?
