My MAC users, including myself, are having problems exporting query results into an excel spread sheet, while Windows users have no such problems. Clicking on the little Excel icon up top opens a new browser tab with the window:
When I click on "Excel on Desktop" the large semi-circle starts spinning:
Meanwhile on the original browser tab with a query another window pops-up:
I don't get prompted for any code, so I am not even sure what this code is all about. The import semi-circle keeps spinning and spinning forever and export never gets completed. I tried it with minimal number of records - same result. And yes, I have Microsoft Doc suite installed on my MAC.
Does anyone have any idea of what's going on here? Would appreciate some help.
@Gregory Kremer Have you tried exporting to the online version to see what happens? What browser are you using and have you tried a different browser? It looks like it is trying to authenticate you into your Office 365 account.
I've used Chrome and Safari with the same luck. Tried to do it to "Excel Online" - no luck either.
