Hi everybody!

We have a problem when try create a new project for Jira Service Desk. The problem occur when we choose the option share with an existing project.
After create one project with the above parameter, the Jira show us a message "This project is not available".

There is a correct way for create this kind of project?

Could help us?

Thanks,

Alfredo Acaui de Carvalho

@Alfredo Carvalho Please see this documentation on what configuration schemes are shared and not shared when you create a JIRA project with shared configuration :

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-service-desk-evaluator-resources/jira-service-desk-create-with-shared-configuration-feature

It might be possible that your project role memberships are not shared with new project and you don't have access to that project yet. This needs to be fixed manually.

Hi, thanks for answer!

I've been with my team to review this case. We read the article, but that does not help us, because we're doing just that. Our problem is when we need to copy an existing project to the template for a new project and we did not succeed.
Our enviroment is configurated and we have access for this project, because was created by ourself.
Do you have another solution tip?

Greetings,

Alfredo
