Problem with Safari browser and Jira

Hi!

One of our user is using Safari version 10.1.2  with MacOS Sierra version 10.12.6 and he is having problem with Jira.

 see my screenshot attached.

Seems like Safari is not able to interpet some html code correctly in Jira Dashboard. 

We are using Jira version 6.2.7

anybody seen that before and knows whats causing this?

Hi Michael,

1. Does this affect any other users?
2. Does this happen in Safari in a Private Window?

You may want to start with a post on Apple's community titled Safari white box with blue question mark.

The other issue could be a JIRA language pack.  Take a look at the knowledge base article Characters Not Supported by ASCII are Being Displayed as Question Marks for more information and steps to potentially remedy this.

I would start there and see if the information above helps.
