Hi, I'm missing some critical (at least for us) functions for the attachments in the new view.
It looks nice but we miss some functions or ways to handle the attachments
and so on... Right now the attachment function is useless for us. We normally have a lot of attachments in the issues and to know what attachments is the latest or what version and so on we need to see the whole name and/or the date for example.
Hi Robert,
Currently, there are many features missing on the new issue view.
For the attachments, we already have some feature request suggesting the implementation to show timestamp and expand or show the attachments as a list:
- https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70146
- https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-70129
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.
For now, it's necessary to disable the new issue view.
If you have any other question, please let us know.
Regards,
Angélica
Thanks Angélica, I hope this will be done rather quick as I like the look of the new interface better.
Is there a date decided when the old view will be closed?

Hi Robert,
We don't have a date yet, because our dev team are still working on the new issue view, that's why we have many features and bugs.
It will happen the same as the new Jira experience, once it's working correctly, administrators will receive an email informing when they won't have the option to turn off.
Regards,
Angélica
