Problems whit a issue type created.

hello everyone,

I'm having a headache here hahaha

I have a issue type "service request with approval" and there is a workflow attached to him. In the same project I need to have another workflow for the same issue type.

looking here I found many same questions and I realized that's impossible so I create a second issue type called "service request with approval 2" but this issue type doesn't work like the other. It does't send an e-mail alerting that the Service Resquest was created and does't appear the "button" to approve the service request to "approver" that i've seted in the fields.

There is a way to I make this work?

Hi @Nicolas Basilio 

Let me summarise.

  • Yes create a new Issue type
  • Associate the new Issue type with a different workflow using the workflow scheme. Better copy the existing workflow and then make changes in it. Make sure the approval is set on the status.
  • Create a Request Type and map it to the Issue Type that you created earlier
  • For email alert look at the customer notifications
  • Also look at the notifications (not customer ones)

Are notifications on create working for other issue types? or are you talking about approval emails?
