Hi all,
I created swimlanes based on queries. 'Everything Else' doesn't show on Kanban. Two swimlanes don't show even though there are issues matching the query. Query is based on free text field, it matches exactly, I tried changing the text to something unique, it doesn't help.
There are 14 swimlanes - is that too much?
Hi Majda.
The only person who can say if there are "too much" swimlanes is you. You can have, 3, 8, 20 swimlanes, the important is that it suits YOUR needs ;) If your team and yourself are happy with that, i do not see a problem to have lots and lots of swimlanes.
About your two missing swimlanes, this might be a syntax problem in the query. Could you tell us what the query returns when you write it in a simple search ?
If you send us some more screenshots, I would be happy to help. :)
I found the problem.
Syntax of the query was ok. It was the filter of the Kanban - it wasn't 'wide' enough for what I was adding in swimlanes.... I forgot to adjust it.
I guess not having issues in 'everything else' was a hint.
Thanks in any case for quick response.
Majda
