Hello,
Im testing out my permission scheme and I assigned a group called 'Permissions Test Scheme' with the permission 'Browse project' on the permission scheme. I have a user assigned to it.
'Permissions Test Scheme' doesn't have product access, but for some reason my test user is still able to log into Jira Software?? This user doesn't have product access to Jira Software at all. My understanding is that these permissions mean nothing without first having product access?
As you can se this user has no product access but is part of 'Permission Test Scheme'
If you look at the details for the user under user management what if any products are enabled for the user?
Hi @Hoc ,
Could you check user's profile and confirm if he is a member of anyone of the groups that has access to JIRA? Is he a part of jira-users group? Also check if you have anonymous access enabled in your permission scheme?

Hey @Niranjan
Yeah I definitely have checked those and can confirm this user is not part of any other group. You can see from my 3rd screenshot it only has access to
HOC TEST FILTER
TEST PERMISSION SCHEME
and definitely no anonymous access.
I am correct in that this user shouldn't have access even if the group has access to the project without product access yes?
Thank you
