I'm currently working with a PO that is using epics incorrectly. This person wants to use them as labels for different activities as opposed for their intended purpose. For example, we have ongoing updates and features and general maintenance; the PO currently has a maintenance epic with tasks going in and out as apart of different releases.
The reason why they're using it is so that they can better organize for themselves the different activities. They want to be able to sort through things without having to use JQL finding different labels while also having the color coding for ease of sorting within the backlog and sprint boards.
Has anyone else experienced this in the past and found a work around?
