Hello,
I want to create a productivity report for a month.
This is inorder to calculate the amount of time spent by each Dev on different activities.
However, the task, user stories and sub tasks that are created only has a start and end date.
I want to create a report wherein if a user has worked for 12 days, out of this how many hours were spent on each task.
Also, I want to bifurcate the tasks to planning, support, development, etc and then calculate the total no of tasks.
Please let me know the step by step process to do this.
To summarize : 1) Bufurcate tasks to different categories like planning, dev. etc
2) Calculate the time spent in each of the task
Hello @Ann
If you're OK with third-party add-ons, you can try Time in Status for Jira Cloud from the Atlassian Marketplace. It generates 7 types of time reports, including Time in Status and Assignee time reports.
A Time in Status report shows the time an issue has been spent in each status (so you can identify at which stage some bottlenecks can occur). And in the "Total" column you'll see the total time spent on each of the tasks.
An Assignee time report shows how much time a particular user has been working on each of tasks. You just need to choose a time period (12 days, week or month).
This add-on is developed by my SaaSJet team, so if you have any additional questions I'm happy to help.
Hey @Mariana_Pryshliak_Saasjet
Thank you for the update
However, can you please let me know if there is any inbuilt way around?
