Project Category Missing

We have a number of projects most of which have a project category assigned (out of the box function) however when creating new projects this field has disappeared older projects are ok. Has this been deprecated or has it moved?

Hi @Tim_Brown,

If you are trying for next-gen projects, it is not possible yet to have project category.

For classic projects, you can configure/assign the project category by:

1. Go to your project and click Project settings. 
2. From the sidebar, select Details.
3. Select a project category and click Save details.

Not the answer I was looking for !!

Any idea why Atlassian has not implemented this feature as it is extremely useful when managing multiple streams of work eg Project V BAU.
