Project Links in Jira/ Integration of application links in Confluence Space

Tommy June 1, 2023

Hi all,

does anybody know, what the "project links" tab on the left side bar in Jira project settings is for? Same applies analogously for "application links" under "Integration" in confluence space settings.

In our case, the integration between Confluence and Jira is done in global settings, what is the benefit of linking particular confluence spaces with particular jira projects:

Hallo @Tommy ,

Like Nick mentioned in this other article, I believe that project links are at the project level, where you specify the documents that may be relevant to that specific project, while application links are global:

so there is no special technical feature behind that? just showing off relevant confluence spaces and vice versa?

This could also be done via direct url shortcuts so I don't get the difference here...
