Project - Renaming - Error message "A project with this name is already existing"

Hi,
I want to rename a project but get the following error message:

"A project with this name is already existing"

(In norwegian: "Et prosjekt med det navnet finnes fra før")

We made an trial project with the same name, that we later deleted. 
So now this project is deleted.  (It does not appear any longer in the
project list).

But still we are not allowed to change the name to be the same as
the former (now deleted) project.

You must also delete from trash. - create-edit-and-delete-team-managed-projects . This article is for TMP but project delete is similar for CMP.
