Hi ,

Usually a project admin should have the access to edit the project type ( as per https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/defining-a-project-938847066.html )

But in my jira instance it is possible .What may be reason ?

Which permission should i check ?

Hi @Aswathi D , have you tried to change the project type as a project administrator via the Project Settings?

 Not possible to edit the project type ..

There is a typo in my question ..sorry .

In the Project Details screen, are you able to select another Project type from the list? From which project type to which project type are you trying to change?

Do you have a valid license for Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Jira Core?

Do you get an error message when you click on the Save details button?
