Project issues migrated using Back to Copy product data not on destination

marafado88 September 13, 2024

Hello everyone,

Have copy a project with 20 issues, and all seems fine from copy feature, but on destination there's nothing.

Did here a test with other projects and can see all the issues on destination but for this one, nothing.

Am I missing here something?

On destination:

Hi @marafado88,

It's not quite clear from your screenshots if the project ended up on the destination site and you can't see any issues or if the project itself was not copied over.

If the project is there, check if you have access to the project (browse project permission). If you don't, you won't see any issues - even if they are there.

Hope this helps!

This project was at least created on destination, but there's no issues in it, even seeing that status on migration about 20 issues (that makes sense compared with source tenant):Screenshot_674.pngScreenshot_673.png

It is not because you're in the Administrator role that you have browse project permission in a project.

If the migration tool shows that all data was transferred correctly, it is most likely there. You should check the permissions tab under project settings and make sure that the Administrator role is indeed linked to the browse project permission.

Ah ok, after adding administrators group into browse projects, I was finally able to see. thank you a lot Walter!
