In JIRA we create different projects for each client and of course have multiple projects per client. What's the best way then to summarize/group all issues per client?
I was thinking to create a custom "Client" field on Issues, but then that seems a bit silly because the client really is tied to the Project for the issue. Is there a way to automatically set the client value based on the Project being used in the Issue? ... or is there a better way I am not seeing?
I've done this by having project categories represent the client (works even better when you have many projects per client)
