Pulling text from Confluence into a field in Jira issue

I am in the process of researching some best practices around documenting requirements and use cases for my organization. We currently use Jira Software (Cloud) and Confluence (Cloud) for our ticketing and documentation. 

I'd like to know is if there is a way to pull text from confluence page (say a heading or text from a table cell) and insert it into a field in Jira (the Use Case field, for example). I'm curious if anyone has tried this or created a plugin for this use case.

Can you embed the page directly in an issue/epic? I know you can add a link to the page, but I was wondering if the page can be embedded directly.
