Hi,
Our org has subscribed to the standard JIRA plan at a monthly billing cycle.
However, even though we have reduced our active users (by suspending access) we do not see an equivalent impact on the billing.
Our understanding was that JIRA bills us on active users only.
Where are we going wrong?
Hi @Soham Bhadra
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Check active user count in your Admin settings: In JIRA, go to Admin > Billing or User Management and see how many licenses you currently have assigned. If you’ve suspended users, confirm that you are still being charged for them.
Remove or unassign suspended users: If you want to avoid being billed for a suspended user, you may need to remove or unassign them from the license rather than just suspending them.
Reach out to Atlassian support: If you're still unsure, it’s always a good idea to get in touch with Atlassian's support team. They can clarify your specific situation and help you adjust your billing or user count if necessary.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
