Query on permission schemes

Hi Team,

I have permission scheme named "Default software Scheme" on cloud which got migrated from data center.Is there is possibilty that when a new project is created on jira in future will it get associated to this scheme?

Hi @Nitisha Paresay ,

Answer is No.

Please note:

1. When you create a new project, Jira will create new schemes based on the project key. i.e schemes will have project Key in it
   Example: SANDBOX software permission scheme, here SANDBOX is the new project key
2. When you create a new porject using "Create project with shared config", it will use the schemes from the selected (existing) project. No new schemes will be used.
   Only Jira admins can create projects with a shared configuration. The shared configuration setting isn't available on Free plan.
