Hello.
I came accross an issue in AIO tests report.
I am uploading test results .xml through Jira AIO's API to test CYCLES.
I am adding description to each test case.
Current report:
Each test case in the Cycle has 'description' and 'custom fields' values.
Still, they do not show up in the report.
My goal:
It would be crucial for me to include Acceptance criteria in the report for each test case.
Qustion:
Is it possible to change the structure of the reports?
If yes, what is the step by step guide to include description in the reports?
Regards,
Nicolas
Are you looking simply for export of cases? If so, you can use the Cases Export option and choose which fields you want.
If you are looking for Cycle export along with Case details, you are correct, the PDF doesn't contain all the fields from cases. We will work with the product team to see if we can enhance this functionality.
A workaround would be to use our Multi-Cycle Execution Detail report and add the relevant fields to the view and then export in Excel.

Welcome to the community.
Is this an option in the API docs of the app?
Description and custom fields are most likely Jira fields, does the aPI support these fields?
Which api endpoint from the app API are you using?
Just some questions, I have.
But as you use an app you could contact the developer/vendor and ask if this is even possible.

Hi @Marc - Devoteam
Thanks for the reply.
I realized that this is not the dedicated forum for this question, so i posted it on
https://aiosupport.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/10
Eventually i did get an answer to my question.
"If you are looking for Cycle export along with Case details, you are correct, the PDF doesn't contain all the fields from cases. We will work with the product team to see if we can enhance this functionality."
But I did get a helpful workaround to my problem, which will probably do it.
"A workaround would be to use our Multi-Cycle Execution Detail report and add the relevant fields to the view and then export in Excel."
I does support excel and .pdf too, so its great.

Nicolas
