Question about Jira workflow post function

I made a post function about triggering parent workflow status transition by sub-task status change. But there's required field in parent transition. And it didn't show any tip or error and just make it through. I want to know if there's any way to check the parent transition's condition when making sub-task status change.

A bit more details as to which post function you used and how this field was required, would be very helpful.

A check that the above field was really empty would be good!

Hi Alex, It's like the screen shot. I think this function was enabled by a plug-in.

And I tried, it just not checking parent issue's required field.
