Question to Jira/Gitlab integration

Hi there,

If one of our developers submits a merge request in Gitlab, in Jira it looks like someone else did this activity. 

Example below

Ahmed set up our Jira-Gitlab integration, however Alessio did the merge request. Is there any way to customize this so the person who actually did the merge request will be shown as the one who makes a comment?

  The integration is functioning correctly.  Everything will come through the user that was used to create your key to get lab so all comments in Jira will be posted by Ahmed.  If you look at the comment it will contain the name of the individual who initiated the request in this case it is Alessio.  You can learn more about configuration here: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/integrations/jira.html#configuring-gitlab
