Quick Filters not working as expected

I have a series of quick filters set up to show me various slices of my Kanban board. The filters themselves work to filter the board. However, the round icons of my individual team members don't seem to keep up. I've got my teams accounts organised in groups so the filters I've set up today have a criteria of assignee in(memberOf(MenuTeam)) and this does show me only the tasks assigned to that team, but the round individual icons, don't change. The ones in this screenshot are me (assigned no tasks) and CM who is also assigned no tasks in this team as they are a member of another group.

I thought that these system defined options were dynamic and related to the tasks currently visible.

 

Have I misunderstood? If I clear all filters and refresh I see all user icons, but it kind of defeats the point of my filter if I have to go through the full list of users to further filter during standups.
