Quick filter in Kanban Board backlog should set values for newly created items - but does not work

Until recently, when I set quick filters on my kanban board backlog and created a new task, the values from the used quick filters would be set. Now none of the values are set. 

The only thing that has changed is that we added quick filters that work on the basis of time (e.g. stories that haven't changed in a week). But even when we do not use these filters the values for new items are not set. 

What could the problem be?
