Quoted part of email is showing up in the comments, (using non quoted email body hander)

I am setting up the email handlers in Jira 5.0 and I have selected the "Add a comment from the non quoted email body" handler. However, the comment that is being added also includes the quoted portion even though this handler is not supposed to. Can anyone provide any insight or troubleshooting ideas I could undertake to solve this?

I have CC'd myself on the the email I respond to Jira with and when I get the email the previous sent email are most certainly quoted (with a pipe character '|)

If you're using Outlook as the client, then this knowledge base may help:

I am using Mac Mail as my client. I actually found that article and tried it anyway but it didn't work. Jira doesn't even seem to be adding the additions I made to the template to the emails.

I have Office for Mac so I am going to test Outlook today.
