Hello,
i'm asking if we can use AD Azure in Jira/confluence without going through Crowd ?
Thanks in adavance.
there are a couple of very good plugins in the marketplace - some of them also support synchronisation with Azure AD not just Just in Time provisioning.
You find a list here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=saml
Cheers,
Christian
Hi,
thanks a lot for both of you.
We found that Microsoft has released a free plugin for Jira and confluence in order to use sso saml.
Everyone has agreed to choose this plugin.
Thanks again.
Best Regards,
Wajih

Hi!
That plugin has been around for quite a while - it's sometimes falling behind compatibility wise a bit & I don't think there are any support SLAs.
If that is not a problem for you & it works in your setup, then you have a free choice here.
Just out of curiosity - how do you synchronise your Users into the Atlassian Applications, as the Microsoft Plugin does not support provisioning to my knowledge?
Cheers,
Christian

Hi @wajih zouaoui ,
You can use the miniOrange's Jira SAML app and Confluence SAML app from the Atlassian marketplace to connect JIRA and Confluence to Azure AD for Single Sign-on. We support Azure AD provisioning just in time.
Here are the configuration guides for the app.
I work for miniOrange and in case if you need further assistance with the plugin and Azure AD configuration, you can reach out to atlassiansupport@miniorange.com or through the customer portal
Thanks,
Prakash
