I have the following custom formula define an attribute:
IF (fixVersions.CONTAINS("2022 Q1") and issueType.name = "Initiative";"2022 Q1";fixVersions.CONTAINS("2022 Q2") and issueType.name = "Initiative";"2022 Q2";"")
The formula works correctly - displaying what I want to display in the column, however, if I try to group by that formula - i receive the following:
"The Jira server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation.
Close this dialog and press refresh in your browser"
Refreshing the browser doesn't do anything to address it - I've been able to group by custom attributes previously - but not sure what's going on with this one - anyone seen this before?
Hello @JasonF ,
David from ALM Works here.
@Madalina Mutihac is absolutely right here. I have attempted to recreate the scenario and receive expected results.
The best option will be to contact our support team directly so we can review the logs.
You can reach us via the support portal that Madalina shared, or via email support@almworks.com.
We look forward to working with you!
Best Regards,
David Niro

Hmmm that sounds like something that would need to be investigated in the logs to understand what is throwing the error. I would raise a support ticket with the vendor, so they can look through the logs and advice.
