Hi there,

we are hosting JIRA on our own server and it seems that it's not possible to install apimint. 

Is that correct and if so, why?

Hi Alex,

According to the marketplace link you have provided, the addon is only available for cloud instances, therefore you will not be able to install it on your JIRA server instance.
