Hi, I accidentally updated the epic on all backlog tickets to one particular epic instead of just the tickets in one sprint.  Is there any way I can restore the previous parent epics for all tickets aside from reviewing the history to obtain original epic and doing it manually?

Thanks

Hi @nerice.johnstone

Welcome to the community!

I would pull all Jira items from your filters dropdown and see recently updated. This will give you which ones were updated instead of going into history of each one.

As far as I know there are no undo options for bulk updates. Others can chime in if there are other options.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Varsha! I know which ones were updated, as it's my whole backlog and all future proposed sprints I have set up :( so I've been going into the history to see which Epic they were previously linked to, to set them back one by one manually - painful!

I did google about undoing bulk updates and couldn't find anything either.

Thanks for replying though :)
