Add A Template in Description Field

Hello Atlassian Community,

Would like to ask your feedback if there is a way to add a template text in the Description field when an Issue is created?

We are on-prem Jira version v8.13.3. 

Any feedback and help is highly appreciated.

Hello @Ikem Abellon ,

You would need the scriptrunner plug-in using behaviours to add a template for the description field.

If you are running a recent version, it seems that you can do it out of the box (however I could not test it).
