Add Organizations field in Create Change Screen

Hello,

The Organizations field is added to the Create Change screen however I cannot add it to a Change Request Type nor does it show up! I want to require organizations be assigned to the change before submitting the change request.jiraOrg.png

Hi Joseph,

 

This issue that is happening is actually an expected behaviour of Jira. I tested on my test instance and indeed it does not show the field "Organization" in the create issue screen.

According to our developers' vision, they thought that customers and agents would use the portal or email to open requests, not the create screen inside Jira (when using JSD).

We have a feature request for the ability to use the organization field in the create screen:

The recommendation is:

 

We recommend that agents add organizations in one of the following ways:
- To add an organization when you raise a ticket: In the agent view, use the *Raise a request* link in the sidebar to go to the portal and raise a ticket on behalf of the customer ([see documentation|https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/raising-requests-on-behalf-of-customers-747602734.html]).
- To add an organization to an existing ticket: In the agent view, view an issue and update the *Organization* field in the People panel.
