Add a Status drop-down box is slow and closes in 2 secs

Hi:

For some reason, the Add a Status drop-down selector behaves erratically by slowly responding to showing option, for example, with the first letter "R", and then the drop-down arrow will show the list then disappear.

Could this be a JIRA setting or a browser issue (Using Windows 7 Enterprise)?

Erratic behavior like this sounds most likely to be a Browser issues as you touched on, i would recommend starting with this Guide that has some basic troubleshooting steps to help narrow this down:
