Add a URL field to Team Managed projects?

Somewhat new to Jira, so it took me half an hour hour and then someone explained it: it looks like you can make a custom URL field for a company-managed project, but you can't use that field in a team-managed project.

Any way to add a URL field to a Team-Managed project?

The team-managed template project doesn't support custom field.

I met the same problem with you. I developed a complicate field (custom field), it can be used in a company-managed project, but unavailable in a team-managed project. I've done a lot investigation, but no solution...
